Bubble Pop It Multiplication Masterclass

Pop, Pop, Pop! 2, 4, 6, 8! Do you love Bubble Pop Fidgets and also need to memorize your multiplication facts.  Each week in this multiplication class we will use our Bubble Pop Fidget to explore different multiplication facts.  During the class, we will talk about how they can use skip counting to master multiplication.  We will create flash cards and then we will play a virtual game to help students learn their multiplication facts.  Students can use their flashcards and pop its to help them solve the problems.   

Each week we will explore different multiplication tables and in week 9 and 10 we will learn strategies for the 11s and 12s.  This will be highly interactive course where kids will get to have fun playing with their fidgets and friends while learning multiplication.

Students should have a basic understanding of the concept of multiplication and a good ability to count. 

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭: Students who are not familiar with navigating more than one computer window may need adult help setting up their game prior to class or at the beginning of class.  Students will receive a link to the game prior to class.  Students should have their game window pulled up in a separate browser window from zoom prior to class.  Students can also join the game from a separate device.  

-- Students that are on a tablet but only have one device can still join, however, they will be able to hear, be heard, and play during class but will not see their classmates or be seen in zoom when they have navigated to the game.  Some students may need help navigating back to the zoom window on their device when they are done playing the game.
