Division Masterclass: Fun With Virtual Games!

Class Description

In this four week online course, we will review division skills that are typically covered in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade math

In this four-week course we will cover elementary division and long division with and without remainders. Each lesson will be followed by fun virtual games that learners will play with classmates to practice division.

The first week we will review single digit division to get a good review of single-digit division and then each week we will practice a division skill with and without remainders.

Required knowledge: Learners should have strong multiplication skills and a fundamental knowledge of division.

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭: Students who are not familiar with navigating more than one computer window may need adult help setting up their game prior to class or at the beginning of class. Students should have their game window pulled up in a separate browser window from zoom prior to class. Students can also join the game from a separate device.

-- Students that are on a tablet but only have one device can still join, however, they will be able to hear, be heard, and play during class but will not see their classmates or be seen in zoom when they have navigated to the game. Some students may need help navigating back to the zoom window on their device when they are done playing the game.
