In this ongoing class, students practice their multiplication with virtual games! This class provides practice on a key 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade math skill.
Do you have a basic understanding of multiplication but would like to play some multiplication games and master each of your multiplication fact families. In this super fun class, we will play multiplication games online with friends from class.
Each week we will explore different multiplication tables. This will be a highly interactive class where kids can race against each other to finish our multiplication challenges. The virtual games will include images of arrays and equal groups to help learners solve the multiplication problems.
Students can join this class at any time and we will continue to rotate through the facts, so even if they have missed a fact family they can pick up at any time and we will cycle back around to it. Students should already be familiar with multiplication but need to master all of their multiplication facts. This class is for beginner II practice in multiplication tables 1-12. This class is great for practice but if you want direct teaching on how to actually do a multiplication problem, please reference the class at the bottom of this description. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭: Students who are not familiar with navigating more than one computer window may need adult help setting up their game prior to class or at the beginning of class. Students will receive a link to the game prior to class. Students should have their game window pulled up in a separate browser window from zoom prior to class. Students can also join the game from a separate device.
-- Students that are on a tablet but only have one device can still join, however, they will be able to hear, be heard, and play during class but will not see their classmates or be seen in zoom when they have navigated to the game. Some students may need help navigating back to the zoom window on their device when they are done playing the game.
