Multiplication + Graphic Design | Learn Times Tables While Designing in Canva

In this ongoing class, learners will use Canva to design multiplication themed graphic art that incorporates things they are interested in like dogs, cats, princesses, kawaii characters, animals, super heroes, or Minecraft blocks.

Each week learners will create a video slide presentation to display arrays for their multiplication tables.  Learners will learn to use basic Canva features including how to insert and format text and how to insert elements like pictures and graphics.  

In this class, learners will be able to design alongside the instructor to create their own graphic design.  The teacher will screen share a design that she is creating as learners use their creativity to create their own design all while studying their multiplication tables.

Parents will need to sign learners up for a free Canva account before class.  Learners will need to be logged into their Canva account prior to the start of class.  

Learners will need basic computer skills including an understanding of drag and drop and how to conduct this task on their device.  They will also need to know how to navigate multiple windows if they are using Canva on the same device that they are logged into the classroom.
